The Saint's Story...
A song it took me a 1000 miles of wet windy cycling to write... a tribute to the 'old' Saints of Ireland, Scotland and Northern England. Men and women who transformed the lives of those around them, with their story of a God who has shown himself.
In truth these are folk who changed history...
Do we also hold this story of powerful, humble grace? Does our love for the name of Jesus radiate into everything we do? I really hope so! Enjoy.

The Saints had a story... so bold

The Saints had a story so bold They told it wherever they'd go They had love as the reason and hope in their hearts which they shared as the pathways they trod calling all who would hear back to God These saints didn't just bring the truth They watched and they knew what to do And with hard work and honey and mead to refresh they all lived out their lives for the one Who had shown them himself through his Son. Chorus So the people came And sang his name. Sweeter than honey and richer than wine, This love of God has a face This love of God offers grace… Their stories summed up in a cross Hope was born in a world that seemed lost. They had stories of valour, of slaves walking free, Their world was never the same Transformed by that beautiful name Chorus Final Bridge: They sang Hallelujah, this love of God has a face Hallelujah this love of God offers grace.
